Vortex Involute is one of the pioneers of the D&B scene in the Ural region. In the early 2000s, he became one of the few producers actively promoting D&B with Russian-language vocals.

Vortex Involute gained particular recognition for his tracks featuring Katya Chekhova, which became iconic for the genre and left a lasting mark on the history of Russian D&B music.
